Wishlist Part 2
Literature

Arthur and George by Julian Barnes is a novel that recounts some (carefully researched) events of the 19th century Britain. Knowing this story has really happened made it even more enjoyable to read, but it is very well written, anyway.

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I have been in love with this book since my sis first read it to me when I was a small child. It's never lost it's magic for me. (This FL already exists

The Unfinished Tales by J.R.R. Tolkien tell us some beautiful stories about so far unknown characters of Middle-Earth as well as give us background information about characters known from
The Silmarillion,
The Hobbit or
The Lord of the rings. (This FL already exists

Tristan by Gottfried von Straßburg. I love and adore his legend. My father told me part of it when I was maybe 10 years old. It instantly captivated me, can make me happy, angry, sad and excited at the same time.
Music/Instruments

Instrument: Clarinet. It's usually said that violin music expresses emotions best. Personally, I think clarinets are just as good at that. Even better, maybe, when it comes to love of life. (This FL already exists

Instrument: Piano. My father and older sister play the piano. I grew up with this music in my ear and don't wanna miss it. (This FL already exists

Relationships

Sakr and his hawk from
Hidalgo. I just have this thing for guys and hawks. Just look at my already existing FLs. There also some very old stories about men and hawks and their almost symbiotic relationships. (I am still pondering.)
Miscellaneous

Arabic Language. It's always fascinated me and when I went to Egypt for holidays, I got well and truly hooked. (This FL already exists

Calico Cats are lucky cats in Germany. I have one of those lovely ones myself and she *is* lucky. (This FL already exists
